Commissions

Art made in conversation with a place.

Art shaped by a place, material or encounter.

My practice spans painting, sculpture, photography, film, installation and work made with communities. New work can begin with an architectural setting, a painting for a collection or a question that requires another form.

How a new commission begins

  1. Share the contextSite, purpose, approximate dimensions and timing.
  2. Discuss the scopeMedium, schedule, budget, partners and any rights.
  3. Agree on a proposalScope, pricing, deliverables and responsibilities before work starts.

A complete brief is not required for an initial inquiry. Appropriate architects, fabricators or installers may be involved where a project calls for them.

A commission begins with a conversation.

Private collectors, interior designers, art consultants, developers, cultural organizations and institutions are welcome to inquire. Share the intended space, location, approximate size, timing and budget context, even when the brief is still developing.

Availability, process, pricing, fabrication, installation and any usage rights are agreed for each project. An inquiry is not a purchase or reservation.
